Manager, Mobile Experience Innovation Centre
The MEIC is a public/private partnership led by OCAD, whose aims are to foster collaborative innovation and build capacity in Ontario for the next generation of mobile experiences. I manage all aspects of the MEIC, including Business Development, Outreach/Events, Research, Operations and Communications. Successful grant writing, program development, research partnerships and evangelism for the mobile sector in Canada are among recent achievements, as well as leading research for Innovation + Insight – Mapping Ontario’s Mobile Industry, published in April 2009.

Programmed and produced panels, conferences, research projects, etc that engaged the interactive and digital media industry in Ontario, facilitating business development and knowledge exchange for commercial, R&D and policy-focused purposes. Content, operations and brand management. Successful public funding grant and application development for interactive media industry events, budget and resource allocations, project management. Conferences/Iniatives included ICE 2008, GameON: Finance 08, iLunch6.0, etc.
