mieke gerritzen, of the all media foundation, gave a talk at LIFT08 on Next Nature, exploring the relationships and codes around how we mutually transform ourselves through technology, with the lens being nature/natural. landscape and architecture affects social behaviour and knowledge, medical progress affects evolutionary process, etc, etc.
she also showed this video, a fictional documentary by floris kaayk – an unsettling yet insightful metaphor for our continual adaptations and implications into our humanity.
